Update..

Alicia, Taneshia and I finally went out and got some filming done today, the rain didn't benefit us in any way but we managed to get what we wanted, a bit of rain never hurt anyone. We still need to go to trafalgar and we've decided next Thursday. So by next Thursday we should have the train shots and our time lapse. Hopefully.

Update!

We sat down with Mrs and just gave her an update on where we are now with our filming, what shots we have got, what shots we want to get in the next few weeks and just generally how we feel we are doing with the filming so far! We made a backup plan just incase our first idea of our final shot does not go as we planned. We explain this in our vlog!

Transport Filming!

We have planned now to film some footage tomorrow. Me, Alicia and Taneshia are going to go to a few train stations and hopefully get the shots we need, without getting caught!! We might also get a few shots on buses just incase.

Music choices

 We thought about including music into our film opening and decided on two songs we all liked and thought best fit our story line and would add effect.The two types of music we have picked out our touching, dramatic and powerful. We will also be using recorded sounds of sirens in places to add to our opening.

English weather!

So this morning we were supposed to go to Trafalgar Square at 6am!! However the weather was terrible today, it was so windy and wet that we knew we wouldn't get the shot or frame we wanted so we have had to postpone our filming!

Final idea!

This is a vlog of our final idea and our plans and sketches and storyboards we have made! Obviously we might have to make a few changes in the process of filming if we cant get certain shots or we come up with better ideas but this is it for now!

Brief Idea Explanation

Here is just a brief explanation of our final idea. Also some of the places we want our filming to take place. We just need to finish our story boards which i will be posting pictures of.

Time lapse plan

So we want to get our time lapse going from night to day in Trafalgar Square, this means we are going to have to aim to be on trafalgar by 5:30-6am as the sunrises shortly after 6, we've discussed when would be good to go shoot it as we want to get it soon so we are going to hopefully go Friday morning and capture our time lapse, fingers crossed the weathers good!! It is supposed to be!

Preparing!

So we've come up with an idea for our 2 minute opening, and our vlog expands on our ideas and what we are going to try and achieve out of this two minute opening, also where our filming will take place. We have decided to start with a pre ending so the viewers will want to know what has happened and will want to watch further.

Group talks!

Over the half term Alicia,Taneshia,Hannah& I met up and discussed our ideas as a group. We came together an had loads of different types of genres we wanted to base our opening on but we eventually came to a conclusion.

Getting Started!

So now we've received our equipment we've just finished editing our practice filming. We actually had so much fun filming and editing our practice film, we didn't take it too seriously so we could get all the different shots we wanted. This has helped us get used to the equipment more and feel more confident to just go straight ahead with some of the filming ideas we had for our final film opening. Now the filming can begin!!

Shot Ideas!

So my group and I have been coming up with a few ideas about our opening and just throwing our ideas and thoughts out there. I've been watching the openings of different genre movies and have been taking note of some of the great shots.

This long shot taken from war horse is a great still shot.

Also we have been thinking to do scenery shots and have come up with some ideas of locations within london. We haven't come to any final ideas yet, it is just somewhere for us to start and see what comes out of it, however at this moment in time we all agree it would be a good way to start  are filming and capture some great scenery shots, here are a few ideas we came up with.

We all agreed this would be a great shot to get and if we may try to get the shots going from daylight to night.

Prelim progress..

My prelim group are still working on the editing of our prelim and our outtakes but we are almost there and it shouldn't be too long before we have our finalised polished prelim. So far I have enjoyed shooting the prelim and editing but there is still a lot to get used to!

The Shawshank Redemption is my favourite film of all time! The relationship between the main two characters adds to this amazing film!!

This youtube clip taken from mean girls is by far my most favourite line from any movie. The line is hilarious and is a classic line from mean girls. Throughout the film there are so many funny lines however this line beats them all and any other line in any other film. This line gives a taste of the comical side of the film.

My Favourite Actress!

Sandra Buloock is one of my favourite actress bacause I love the variety of roles she has played in different movies such as 'The Blind Side' and 'Miss Congeniality'. She is a skillfull actress that can adapt to her many different characters.
